Supporting English Learners in Lucy Calkins Writing Workshop

We will explore each component of the workshop and learn how to engage English learners in a more meaningful way. Participants will leave with resources and tools to help them in the classroom that will be a benefit to both English learners, and all students.

K-5 educators working with English learners

• One Writing Unit of Study
• Pathways
• Guide to Writing Workshop
 

Facilitator:  Lisa Thom (formerly Hedrick), Professional Development Specialist at CESA #1. 

This workshop is offered at no-cost to CESA #1 region Title I and Independent Charter districts.  $80 fee for registrants outside of the CESA #1 region.
